Welcome, I’m so glad you’re here!

I’m Raisa, a licensed clinical psychologist in London with over 11 years of experience. I’m multilingual and speak English, Hindi and Telugu.

Over the last decade, I have worked in different settings both in India and the UK and most recently worked as the Lead Psychologist and Head of Department at a prominent London hospital.

I use evidence-based therapies like CBT, DBT, and ACT, and integrate them into a relational framework.

With a strong focus on trauma-informed care and cultural sensitivity, I approach mental health challenges with a non-discriminatory perspective.

I believe that you can turn your adversity into strength. And I’m here to help you do just that.

I specialize in treating individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, OCD, relationship challenges, addiction, grief, loss, and intergenerational trauma.

Why choose to work with me?

Cultural sensitivity: As a South Asian therapist myself, I have a deep understanding of cultural nuances. During my clinical psychology training, I have lived and worked at the grassroots level in rural India, delivering evidence-based and culture-sensitive therapy within a resource-deficient environment.

Experience in intergenerational trauma: In my personal life, I have experienced first-hand intergenerational trauma, mental health challenges and addiction issues within the family. I have also seen incredible examples of strength and resilience in my life, and bring this experiential learning with me to the therapy space, combining experience with clinical expertise.

Collaborative & strengths-based approach: Therapy is a collaborative process where your autonomy is prioritized, working together towards positive change. I believe that YOU are the expert of your own life.
